Default WTB: Model M0487 and/or A9M0330 Apple ADB Keyboard.

Would like to buy a model M0487 and/or A9M0330 Apple ADB Keyboard.

If it's model M0487, looking for the one built in Taiwan, not Malaysia.

Hi,
I may have both of them. (Will have to check the numbers out) Neither is that rare. Do you also need the cables that go with them?

You did not mention what they went to. Most people are not going to look up the numbers. You also did not mention your location. As the closer you are to some one the shipping cost could go down to basically zero if you are close.

Take Care,
From Michigan

Sorry. The M0487 shipped with mid model compact Macs and LCs (Color Classic, LC, LC II, LC III, Quadra 605, etc.)

The A9M0330 shipped with the Apple IIgs.

I know they're not rare, but I've had a hard time finding any in my immediate area. The IIGs keyboard is very similar to the Mac version, but it was mechanical and clicky. Excellent tactile feedback, arguably one of the best keyboards. Since it's ADB, it also works on the Mac.

I'm located in the San Francisco (south bay) Bay Area, California.

If you still have nothing by Nov 14 I can probably pick one up for you, I know a local source.
That is, "apple keyboards with the sort of lump on top which corresponds to the ones you want"; I don't know the model numbers on the ones I saw.

However I have to put out money to GET it for you so the model would be:

-you guarantee you'll buy it
-I go buy it (probably 5-10 bucks?)
-I get it quoted for you
-You pay [cost I paid] + [shipping] + [5 bucks for my trouble?]
-I send it

Would this work for you, assuming you don't have one by then?
Also no guarantee they still have it, they did last I was there (Computers for Kids garage sale, Windsor Ontario)

I'll let you know before the 14th. I'm also looking into buying a couple older Macs which may or may not include the keyboards. I came across these computers after I posted here, so I should find out in a few days and post back here.

Thanks for the help.

I will also check to see if I have the mac one and if it works. The IIgs one is no problem. How does $15.00 for both keyboards plus what shipping cost from 48035. Do you need the keyboard cables too? They will be included for the $15.00

Take Care

I was able to get an old Mac on Craig's List that included the older keyboard, so I think I'm all set. I'm going to swap the boards between my broken one and the horribly discolored one. Should work.

Thanks for looking into it.
