Default IBM PS/2 P70 portable not POSTing

The local computer nonprofit I help out at knows I love old machines and I identified a PS/2 model P70 that they were given. It powers on, but nothing on the screen and no POST either. I removed the NIC and the 4 memory chips and the CMOS battery, but still nothing. The keyboard lights flash when turning it on, but nothing else. Any other troubleshooting ideas? Hardly ever do I see a failed PS/2.

Not perchance Free Geek in Portland, is it?

If so, then I'm probably the one who donated it, and it's beyond reasonable repair. (Probably requires resoldering some parts.)
Mac 128 through MacBook Pro, PC-AT through Homebuilt Core i7 965 and quad Itanium 9150M, and many in between.
Newton, Palm V, N-Gage, Tapwave, iPhone.
Intellivision, Game Boy through DS, GameCube, Wii.
